Mitwa Ng’ambi, Chairman and CEO of MTN Rwandacell (MTN Rwanda), met with Ericsson’s Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Strategy Officer, Erik Ekudden, on the sidelines of the Commission’s annual meeting on broadband, during which they discussed their long-term partnership. Over the years, this partnership has seen the establishment of various services and products within MTN Rwanda and Mobile Money Rwanda Ltd, bridging the digital divide and propelling financial inclusion.
MTN has worked with Ericsson to improve the customer experience with Ericsson’s managed service solutions. One such service includes MTN’s modernized Network Operation Center (NOC) which has been implemented to handle the end-to-end monitoring of the MTN network. Thanks to the NOC, MTN Rwanda’s network operation center and incident management tools are automated, which improves the efficiency of network operations and enhances the customer experience.
